What is an "up-sell?"

Ever heard someone ask you "Would you like fries with that?"

That's a great example of an "up-sell!"

At the point of purchase, when they already have their money / credit card out and are ready to buy, you suggest an additional related item they can purchase right then.

Often the up-sell is offered at a discount or in a special quantity.

It's a proven way to make MORE money from your website without adding one single more visitor... because, of the people who buy, a percentage will spend more money with you just by asking them.

So, if you have an existing website business and want to give yourself a pay raise, add an up-sell and watch your profits soar.
